Comic to host comedy podcast of sexy stories

Katherine Ryan is to host the next series of a podcast in which two comedian guests write erotic stories about each other.

Write Me Dirty has already run for one series without a host and with a very loose conversational format.

In series two, to be released every Thursday, each story  will be triggered by a ridiculous  prompt. And after both tales are aired, Ryan will crown the week’s ‘Erotica Champion’ based on sexiness, funniness, and creativity. A sample might be: ‘ Apocalypse, must include a zombie and a can of beans.’

The comedian   said: ‘When they asked me if I wanted to host a show about sex, erotica and fiction I didn’t have to think twice. I said "Absolutely not.’"

‘But when I realised I’d have a front row seat as comedians squirmed through the awkwardness of reading aloud the erotic fiction they’d written about each other for a prize, and I reconsidered.’

Ryan already hosts the podcasts Telling Everybody Everything, in which she shares the details of her daily life, and What’s My Age Again? about how her guests are ageing. 

Write Me Dirty is made by JamPot Productions, run by Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo. News of the Ryan joining the podcast was first reported by   Deadline.
