Who's standing in for James Corden on A League Of Their Own
Jack Whitehall, Romesh Ranganathan and David Walliams will be among the guest presenters on the next series of A League Of Their Own.
Regular host James Corden will be in the chair for just two of the episodes of the upcoming 14th series of the Sky One sports panel show because of his commitments in the US.
Others taking the hotseat will be Clare Balding, Amanda Holden and sprinter Dina Asher Smith.
Ranganthan will also be on the panel for the shows he is not hosting, sitting alongside Jamie Redknapp as they face Freddie Flintoff’s rival team.
Sky’s director of programming Zai Bennett said: ‘We’re delighted that James is hosting two of the shows this series but appreciate he has other work commitments this year. Therefore, we’ve got a brilliant line-up of guests to keep his seat warm and we have no doubt that our new guest hosts will ensure that the laughs continue"
Among the stunts planned for this year’s series, Ranganathan, Redknapp and Flintoff undertake a gruelling Royal Marine assault course in Dartmoor:
Guests taking part in the series include comedians Rob Beckett and Tom Davis plus boxer Tony Bellew; skier Chemmy Alcott; I’m A Celebrity winner Harry Redknapp; gymnast,Max Whitlock; speed skater Elise Christie; former footballers Alex Scott, David Ginola, Robin van Persie, Jermaine Jenas and Joe Cole; cricketer Jimmy Anderson; presenter Helen Skelton and field hockey gold medal winner Sam Queck.
