See Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade in the Lego Movie 2

Stars' casting as a vampire and an ice cream cone revealed

Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade have lent their voices to the new Lego 2 movie, it has been announced today.

And here's the first look at their characters.

Goth fan Fielding is suitably cast as the charming vampire Balthazar:

While Ayoade is 'an efficient but impatient royal assistant and party planner who just happens to be an ice cream cone'.

The Lego Movie 2 returns to Bricksburg five years after the last adventure as the citizens, led by Emmet, Lucy and Batman, fight to save their city from Lego Duplo invaders from outer space.

Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks and, Will Arnett reprise their original starring roles with Nick Offerman returning as Metal Beard, and Alison Brie as Unikitty.

They are joined by Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, and Arturo Castro as, respectively, new characters Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi, Sweet Mayhem and Ice Cream Cone.

The Lego Movie 2 is released in UK cinemas on February 8.
