Comedian fails to survive the dance-off

Seann Walsh has been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing

He and dance partner Katy’s Jones were in the dance-off for the second week running after last night’s Viennese waltz failed to impress judges, who scored them just 20.

They then failed to secure enough public support to avoid the dreaded showdown tonight.

The judges put cricketer Graeme Swann and Oti Mabuse through and knocked Walsh and Jones out.

The comic’s private life has faced intense scrutiny since he was caught in an illicit clinch with Jones earlier in the series. A pole dancer sold her story of an encounter with Walsh to The Sun on Sunday today.
