Britain's Got Talent star Robert White announces first tour

31 dates in spring

Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Robert White has announced his first UK tour.

White – who bills himself as the only gay, Aspergic, quarter-Welsh comic on the British comedy circuit – is cashing in on his new-found fame with 31 dates next spring.

He scored 17 per cent of the votes in the final earlier this month and was praised by judges. Head honcho Simon Cowell told him: ‘You're very unique, you're very quirky, very funny, very naughty, Robert, which we like!’

White’s BGT routines have also received more than 7 million views on YouTube.

His Tank Top Tour will kick off at Aldershot Princes Hall on February 8 and end at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford, on April 28.

Tickets go on sale to O2 customers on Wednesday. Then wider on Thursday and Friday. The full schedule is here.

•BGT winner Lost Voice Guy is one of the 28 acts taking part in this year's Chortle Fast Fringe at the Underbelly on London's South Bank on July 9. Tickets are available here.
