Watch every episode Extras and League Of Gentlemen for free

The BBC has re-released some of its classic comedies as box sets on BBC iPlayer.

Every episode of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s celebrity-packed Extras has been made available today, as well as every episode of The League of Gentlemen, including the anniversary specials.

All three series and Christmas specials of Miranda, all five series of Citizen Khan and all nine series of Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet of Crisps have also been added to iPlayer

They join a host of more recent comedy box sets including Fleabag, This Country, Gavin and Stacey, The Young Offenders, and Famalam.

Shane Allen, controller of comedy commissioning for the BBC, said: ‘This selection of classic and contemporary shows is testament that great comedy lasts forever.’

This week the BBC also made every episode of Doctor Who since the series returned in 2005 available to watch.
