She also stars in Wine Country for Netflix

Amy Poehler is  to make her directorial debut.

The Parks and Recreation star will also appear in Wine Country, which is about long-time friends who go to Napa for the weekend to celebrate a 50th birthday.

She has recruited several former Saturday Night Live members for the ensemble cast, Hollywood trade press reports, including Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, Maya Rudolph and Emily Spivey.

Spivey and another SNL graduate, Liz Cackwoski, wrote the script. The film will shoot later this month and be released on Netflix.

Tina Fey – with whom Poehler has a near 25-year association – will also feature.
