The best of the week's comedy on TV and radio

This week's comedy on TV and radio.

Sunday October 29

THE LAST MAN ON EARTH: The high-concept US comedy about a small band of survivors returns to Dave for a third series. It stars Will Forte, Kristen Schaal, January Jones and Mary Steenburgen, among others. 11pm

Tuesday October 31

DAVE GORMAN - MODERN LIFE IS GOODISH: The comedian fires up his PowerPoint for a fifth series, starting by asking whether a knock-off can ever be as good as the real thing – whether it's DVDs, baking… or the band Bucks Fizz. Dave, 10pm

Wednesday November 1

MAE MARTIN'S GUIDE TO 21ST CENTURY ADDICTION: Mae Martin was nominated for the Edinburgh comedy award for her stand-up show Dope, about how she fell into drug addiction. Now she uses that experience for a two-part Radio 4 series about obsessive behaviour and how society deals with the issue. Radio 4, 11.30am

Thursday November 2

LIVING THE DREAM: Philip Glenister and Lesley Sharp star in this new comedy-drama from the makers of Cold Feet. The pair play parents of two kids who swap rainy Yorkshire for sun-kissed Florida, where they plan to run a trailer park. It's probably no spoiler to say it doesn't exactly go to plan when they realise the park they've bought is nothing like it looked in the pictures and comes with an eclectic bunch of residents, including ex-wrestler Troy, who sets a couple of alligators on them as a welcome gift… Sky 1, 9pm

Friday November 3

BEAR'S MISSION WITH Rob Brydon: Brydon braves the wilds of Snowdonia with the survivalist: from dropping 30ft from the open door of a helicopter into a freezing lake to abseiling into a 200ft deep sinkhole and climbing up a treacherous mine shaft. ITV, 9pm

TRAVEL MAN: 48 HOURS IN AMSTERDAM: Joe Lycett joins Richard Ayoade for culture, canals and cuisine in the Netherlands. Channel 4, 8.30pm
