From the Lost Tapes recorded by the People Just Do Nothing stars

Kurupt FM revealed their new single for the first time on BBC Radio 1 Xtra last night.

Suttin’ Like That, due out tomorrow, is the first track to be released after the stars of BBC mockumentary People Just Do Nothing signed to XL Recordings.

The label is also home to the likes of Adele, Vampire Weekend, Radiohead, The xx, M.I.A., and Sigur Rós.

And on November 17, it will release The Lost Tape – allegedly a ‘legendary set’ that was broadcast live on the pirate radio station and was recorded onto cassette tape by an anonymous listener.

The album features more an hour of UK garage and grime tracks by the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Wookie, SIA and Agent X linked by Brentford’s finest – MCs DJ Beats and MC Grindah and mixed live by Steves.

Suttin’ Like That was played for the first time by DJ Target on 1Xtra last night, and again when the crew visited MistaJam’s show later in the evening – listen to that appearance here.

Here’s a trailer for The Lost Tape:
