...with Al Porter

Comedian Tara Flynn is to provide the voiceover when Ireland makes its own version of Blind Date.

Fellow comic Al Porter has already been named as host of the show and now Flynn will be ‘our Graham’ to his Cilla Black.

Flynn said: ‘I am so delighted about being the famous sidekick in Blind DateI have very fond memories of my Saturday nights in front of the TV watching the legendary Cilla having a lorra lorra laughs! Myself and Al Porter are going to have so much fun.’

Flynn started her career as a member of singing comedy trio The Nualas, and is an actress, stand-up and author whose TV credits include.

The Irish Blind Date will air on TV3 from later this year.

Channel Five recently revived the show in the UK with Paul O'Grady as host.
