She'll still host Extra Slice

Jo Brand is to return to host Great British Bake Off spin-off An Extra Slice when it moves to Channel 4.

Bake Off

As on the BBC, Brand will be joined by celebrity fans of the show who will offer their verdict on each week’s episode  And as the contestants leave the tent and the competition they will re-live their mistakes.

Brand said: ‘As a completely mediocre baker myself, but lover of all things spongey and tarty, I am really looking forward to another Extra Slice and all the fun and frolics that brings.’

The date of the show’s return has not yet been announced.

It has also been announced today that Hollywood will make a new baking series, A Baker’s Life, as part of his deal with Channel 4.
