The last stand-up set Sam Kinison ever recorded has been released.

KinisonHis routine at the Grove Theatre in Upland, California, was taped just two weeks before he died on April 10, 1992, after being hit by a drunk driver. He was 38.

The hour-long bootleg – a low-quality amateur recording – was released digitally yesterday by independent US label Comedy Dynamics.

Company president Brian Volk-Weiss said: 'We are honored to be working on such an impactful comedy legacy project like this, and we hope comedy lovers everywhere enjoy it.'

Kinison's last HBO special – 1991's Family Entertainment Hour – was re-released on Netflix earlier this summer.
