New dates for The Fast Show Live
With Bianca Del Rio and Lee Peart announcing new tours, too
The Fast Show team have announced a new run of dates for 2027.
Simon Day, Charlie Higson, John Thomson, Paul Whitehouse, Mark Williams and Arabella Weir take to the road again from February after two earlier successful tours of their Evening With… shows.
The performances are a mix of conversation about the making of the hit sketch show, with recreations of some of the characters.
Tickets for the new dates – which kick off at the Royal & Derngate in Northampton – go on sale at midday on Friday.
Bianca Del Rio has also announced a 2027 tour, It Gets Bitter, celebrating 30 years in drag – including being crowned winner of season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Known offstage as Roy Haylock, Del Rio has been dubbed the "Joan Rivers of the Drag World" by The New York Times, and audiences are warned ‘if you are sensitive, easily offended or possess a fragile sense of self-worth, choose your seats carefully… the front row is a firing squad, and no one is safe from her biting insults and lightning-fast comebacks.’
She said: ‘There's a lot going on in the world today, and I have a lot to say about it. I'm looking forward to finally getting back on the road and venting to anyone who will listen. The old saying is, "It gets better", but I'm proof that after 30 years in drag "It gets bitter."’
Twelve UK and one Dublin dates have been announced, starting at Brighton Dome on March 31. General sale opens at 10am on Friday
Del Rio will also be taking her tour to Latin America this November and over the US, Canada, and mainland Europe next year.
Completing today’s tour date announcements, Lee Peart has announced his debut UK stand-up tour It's Not You, It's Lee, running across 14 shows from April 27.
Peart is the co-host of Bottoms Up! with Alan Carr - which last week won a British Podcast Award - and has previously been tour support for Judi Love, Jason Manford and Ellie Taylor as well as being a warm-up man for many TV shows.
He said: ‘For years I’ve been behind the scenes in TV, hyping up the biggest shows and cheering on household names, and I’ve decided… I’m sick of being the bridesmaid. It’s time to be the bride!
‘I’m super excited that I am finally going on the road with my stand-up tour…. I can’t wait to see you for what is going be a funny romp through my chaotic life.’
Tickets for this tour go on general sale at 10am on Thursday
