Second series for Maria Bamford's Lady Dynamite

A tight 5: July 28

Maria Bamford'S comedy series Lady Dynamite has been renewed for a second series. Netflix says a new run of the 'occasionally surreal' show will return some time in 2017. Chelsea Handler's chat show Chelsea will also return next year, the broadcaster says, with 90 new episodes.

Bill Bailey is to record a DVD of his Limboland show. The comic has added a final date to the tour – August 26 at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith – which will be taped for release this Christmas. Tickets for the new show, priced £20, will go on sale at 10am tomorrow.

FRANKIE BOYLE and Sharon Horgan are to tell TV executives about pushing boundaries in the alternate McTaggart Lecture at the Edinburgh International Television Festival on August 26. Festival director Lisa Campbell said: 'Sharon Horgan is a great choice to discuss comedy as a means to push boundaries and with Frankie asking the questions, this promises to be a killer session, delving into the depths of parodies, satire, and pure comic genius.'

A NEW exhibition is to mark ten years since The Boosh first toured. Photographs from cast member Dave Brown, who plays Bollo, illustrations from Noel Fielding and props from their stage show will go on display at The Book Club in Shoreditch, East London, for three months from October 20. Fielding said: 'Dave’s pictures are like beautifully composed snapshots from an amazing time in my life where my feet hardly touched the floor and I felt like the luckiest girl/boy on earth.'

COMEDIANS Russell Kane, Susan Calman and Liz Carr will be among the celebrities taking part in Patrick Kielty's new daytime programme Debatable. They will make guest appearances on a panel which discuss each question before the contestant gets to answer it. Other panelists across the 25-episode first series will include Ann Widdecombe, Christopher Biggins and Phil Tufnell.
