As Netflix renames it Lovesick

Comedy series Scrotal Recall is to get a new name.

Netflix has announced that it will now be known as Lovesick when the show returns on November 17.

In March, Chortle reported how the on-demand service had snapped up the rights to host the second series. The first aired on Channel 4 in October 2014.

Stars Johnny Flynn, Antonia Thomas and Daniel Ings will all reprise their roles as Dylan and his best friends Evie and Luke. The premise of the show is that Dylan has to contact everyone he’s ever slept with after contracting chlamydia.

Creator Tom Edge returns as writer and one of the executive producers for series two, which will again be made by Clerkenwell films.

The first series – which was warmly received by critics, even if they hated the title – ended with Dylan and Evie's romantic feelings unresolved.
