New deal with Sky

The Late Late Show with James Corden is to be screened in the UK for the first time.

The talk show will be available the day after its US broadcast on the Sky and NOW TV on-demand platforms from July 19.

Sky1 will mark the new deal by broadcasting the show's Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special on July 19, featuring such stars as Adele, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey. 

Since its launch in March 2015, the show has created plenty of viral clips, with its official YouTube channel surpassing a billion total views. The most popular clip is Adele's Carpool Karaoke, which has 113 million views.

On CBS, the broadcast show is currently averaging 1.26 million viewers, placing it behind NBC's Late Night with Seth Myers and ABC's Nightline.

There is a huge appetite from UK and Irish fans to enjoy the antics of The Late Late Show first hand.'James Corden is already a face of Sky 1, as the host of sports comedy quiz A League Of Their Own since 2010.
