Comedy Central confirms second round of Drunk Histories

Comedy Central has confirmed its commission of a second series of Drunk Histories.

Chortle revealed the comeback last month, now the broadcaster has confirmed a full list of guests.

They include Jack Whitehall, Olivia Colman, Hugh Dennis, Phill Jupitus, Tom Rosenthal, Josie Long, Joe Lycett, Mathew Baynton, Nick Helm, Sara Pascoe, Jessica Knappett and Nish Kumar

Away from comedy, one-time Spice Girl Emma Bunton (pictured with Baynton in what appears to be the Robin Hood story), former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan and Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison will also be retelling inebriated versions of historical events.

Eight new episodes are scheduled for broadcast early next year. Some the narrations have been recorded already, with work not he filmed insets imminent. Jimmy Carr will return to provide a voiceover.

Andy Brereton, head of comedy from programme-makers Tiger Aspect added: 'Now that our livers have just about recovered, it's time to go again, this time bigger and better.'
