3rd series for BoJack Horseman

Netflix renews dark animated comedy

Netflix has ordered a third season of animated comedy Bojack Horseman.

The second series of the show about a washed-up celebrity trying to rebuild his life in Los Angeles has just been released to critical acclaim.

Now the streaming service has revealed that the third season of 13 episodes will be released some time next year.

It stars Will Arnett and Aaron Paul and features the voices of Amy Sedaris, Alison Brie and Paul F. Tompkins.

The second season has BoJack, star of 1990s sitcom Horsin' Around, starring in his dream project as a launchpad to becoming a better horse.

In a review of series two, the Guardian said: ' It may look like a frivolous animation about candyfloss-coloured animals, but with all the complex characterisation and serious treatment of its darker elements, Bojack Horseman is anything but cartoonish.'
