Stewart Lee is to curate next year's All Tomorrow's Parties festival of alternative music. The comic and music critic joins Simpsons creator Matt Groening and artists The Chapman Brothers as the only non-musicians to have curated the festival. It takes place at the Pontins holiday camp in Prestatyn, North Wales, on April 15 to 17. No bill has yet been announced.

SARAH SILVERMAN will be returning to Master Of Sex. America's Showtime channel has confirmed that she will reprise the role as Helen for several episodes of the third season. Her storyline will involve her character wanting a baby with her lesbian partner. The show, which has previously aired on Channel 4 and More 4 in the UK, returns to the US on July 12.

MARC MARON's interview with President Barack Obama for his WTF? podcast was downloaded more than 900,000 times in the first 36 hours since it was released on Monday morning according to Libsyn, which distributes the show, more than tripling his previous best audience.

MUSICAL comedian Eddie Perfect and cabaret singer Ali McGregor have been announced as the new artistic directors of the Adelaide Cabaret festival in Australia, taking over from Dame Edna Everage creator Barry Humphries.
