Sarah Millican becomes a curator

...on Radio 4’s The Museum of Curiosity

Sarah Millican is to be the curator of the next series of Radio 4’s The Museum of Curiosity.

The BBC has commissioned an eighth series of the panel show, which is hosted by its co-creator, comedy uber-producer John Lloyd.

And Millican is the latest to curate a series following in the footsteps of Bill Bailey, Sean Lock, Jon Richardson, Dave Gorman, Jimmy Carr, Humphrey Ker and Phill Jupitus.

Producers Richard Turner and James Harkin said ‘We are hugging ourselves with glee at the news’ of Millican’s appointment.

Each week guests are invited to submit items for the fictional Museum of Curiosity. The series will be recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, Central London, from May 24 to July 6.

One edition will air at 6.30pm on September 3 with six more episodes going out from January 2016.
