Sketch show renewed

ITV2 has renewed Keith Lemon’s Sketch Show for a second series.

Leigh Francis, the man behind the show, revealed the news as he spoke to journalists at the TRIC awards last night.

‘We are doing [a second series]. But I’m not allowed to say,’ he said. ‘I got told today. I’m not allowed to tell you we’ve got a green light for a second series. But I can’t tell you.’

The renewal comes before the final episode of the first series airs tonight.

It launched last month with a shade under 1million viewers for its first outing, according to overnight figures, a strong showing for the digital station and well above the slot average.
