CANADIAN sketch trio The Trailer Park Boys have announced a three-night Drunk High and Unemployed tour of the UK, playing the Manchester Academy, Cambridge Corn Exchange and Brixton Academy on September 16, 17 and 18 respectively. The ninth series of their TV series starts on Netflix on March 27.

JASON MANFORD has said the BBC was wrong to announce its policy of ensuring there is at least one female comedian on every panel show, rather than just implementing it quietly. He told the Radio Times: 'By saying it, you're undermining the female on the panel show because now she's thinking, "Am I here because I'm funny or because they needed one?"' Dara O Briain has previously expressed similar concerns.
