THE OFFICE has been named the best TV show of the last 20 years at tonight’s Broadcast Awards. Harry & Paul’s Story Of The 2s won best comedy show and Nick Helm’s Uncle was named best multichannel show in the accolades handed out by the TV industry magazine.

FRANKIE BOYLE has donated £5,000 to a food bank in Glasgow's Maryhill after it was burgled. It replaces the value of food vouchers, clothes and cash stolen over the weekend. Some of the stolen cash had been set aside for ten-year-old Chelsea Sommerville, who was the victim of a hit and run accident in November.

BILL BAILEY and Sean Lock are to headline this year’s Altitude festival in the Austrian ski resort of Mayrhofen on March 23 to 27. As well as founders Marcus Brigstocke and Andrew Maxwell, the line-up also includes The Boy With Tape On His Face, Gina Yashere, Simon Evans and 2014 Chortle Student Comedy Award winner Jamali Maddix. PIONEERING comedian Dick Gregory has been honoured with a star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame. Los Angeles councilman Mitch O’Farrell praised the comic for ‘kicking down doors’ during civil rights era and ‘encouraged the kind of activism that changed American society for the better’.

A CLIP of Keith Lemon spoofing Kim Kardashian as if part of the Big Fat Gypsy Wedding show has attracted more than 7.4million views on Facebook. It is from The Keith Lemon Sketch Show, which launches on ITV2 tomorrow.
