Mystery project for Russell and Kerry

Russell Howard is to appear alongside his sister Kerry for the first time on TV.

Kerry, whose credits include Him & Her and the Reggie Perrin revival, revealed the move in an interview today – but was tight-lipped about the details of the project.

'He's written something - I can't really say what it is but it's a one-off... a rom-com kind of thing,' Kerry Howard told Digital Spy. 'It's brilliant and I'm going to be acting with my brother for the first time, so that will be really cool.'

And in a separate interview with Entertainment Focus, she added: 'I can’t go into too much detail about that. It’s very exciting!'

Last year it was reported that Russell was writing a film about a 'bloke who falls in love with his family again' – although nothing has been heard of about that project since. And at the time the comic said he wasn't planning to star in it, since 'I'm not a very good actor.'

Kerry appears in the news sitcom Give Out Girls, which starts on Comedy Central tonight.

Earlier this year Russell struck a deal with Comedy Central for more than 20 hours of programming: a ten-part stand-up series in which he introduces other act and an on-the-road travelogue about his next tour, Wonderbox.
