Jack Carroll joins Trollied

Along with Aisling Bea

Britain's Got Talent comic Jack Carroll and stand-up Aisling Bea have joined the cast of Sky1's sitcom Trollied.

Carroll, 15, will play supermarket employee Harry, a cheeky know-it-all, when the sitcom returns later this year.

He said: 'I’m playing a slightly overweight, disabled teenager. Typecast again!'

Meanwhile, former So You Think You’re Funny winner Bea plays Charlotte, the hopeless daughter and heiress of the owner of the Valco stores.

Also joining the fourth series are Miriam Margolyes, playing 'straight-talking and mischievous' cashier Rose and Wild At Heart star Stephen Tompkinson, as the store's new pharmacist Brian.

Last month, it was announced that Carroll would be joining David Walliams's BBC One sitcom, Big School. He has previously played Mr. Frazernagle alongside Vic Reeves in the CBBC show Ministry of Curious Stuff.
