Rob Brydon to host Saturday night gameshow

New series for BBC One

Rob Brydon is to front a new Saturday night ‘comedy entertainment’ show for BBC One.

In The Guess List, celebrity guests help two contestants win prizes which have been specially selected to suit them.

Six 40-minute episodes have been commissioned from producers 12 Yard following a successful pilot last year.

Andy Culpin, managing director of 12 Yard, said: ‘We are so excited to be working with a talent as big as Rob Brydon. His hilarious interaction with the famous faces and members of the public takes the show to another level.’

BBC One controller Charlotte Moore added: ‘It’s a really funny show’.

The series will start in the spring.
