Russell Howard is writing a film
...but it's early days yet
Russell Howard is writing his first film.
The comic said he is in the early stages of the script, which he is writing with an unnamed friend.
He told TV Choice: ‘Hopefully [it] will become something, but it's pretty early at the moment.’
Howard was similarly tight-lipped about the script, saying only: ‘It's about a bloke who falls in love with his family again.’
But he won’t be starring, admitting ‘I'm not a very good actor... [I’ll] have proper actors do it, rather than have me ruin it.’ He did, however, hint that he might take a cameo.
The comic was speaking to promote the return of Russell Howard's Good News on BBC Three on Thursday.
