Sitcom for Loaded's new TV channel

Lads’ mag Loaded is launching its own TV station – featuring a sitcom described as Open All Hours in a sex shop.

Comedy will be a key strand of the new channel, which is expected to launch on November 1.

Its schedules will include a 12-week series of stand-up shows from Jongleurs – reviving the Live At Jongleurs series which originally aired on the Paramount Comedy Channel in the late Nineties.

Another programme is the hidden camera series Marshals Law – which stars Jason Attar as a police community support officer Lesland Marshal and his criminal minded twin interacting with real people. Attar said the show’s tone would be Cops with Cameras meets Only Fools and Horses with a splash of Fonejacker’.

Loaded TV is planning to spend £2.5million over the next year on content, commercial director Gary Dingwall told trade magazine Broadcast.
