Stacey Solomon, sitcom star?

X-Factor singer making a teaser tape

Reality TV singer Stacey Solomon is hoping to become the star of her own sitcom.

Comedy writers Rob Colley and Dan Gaster, whose credits include Mock The Week and the Graham Norton Show, are putting together a taster tape.

The hope is to create a sitcom in the vein of Curb Your Enthusiasm, with the 22-year-old playing a semi-fictionalised version of herself.

Impressionists Phil Cornwell and Ronni Ancona have been lined up to play the parents of the X-Factor and I’m A Celebrity... personality, according to The Sun.

The show is being developed by Princess Productions, and an unnamed source claimed there was ‘a lot of excitement’ around the idea.
