Channel 4 Comedy Gala returns

Line-up announced

Channel 4’s Comedy Gala is returning to London’s O2 Arena for the third time.

Acts taking part for the charity fundraiser – which takes places on May 11 – include Lee Evans, Michael McIntyre, Micky Flanagan and Jack Dee.

As usual, the event will be recorded for a two-hour Channel 4 TV special to be aired later this year.

The previous two events have raised more than £1.5million towards a new operating theatre at the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.

The line-up includes many comedians represented by the Off The Kerb agency, which is promoting the show and filming it through its Open Mike production arm. These include Jonathan Ross, Sean Lock, Kevin Bridges, Jo Brand, Jon Richardson, Seann Walsh, Josh Widdicombe and Paul Chowdhry.

Participating acts not from the Off The Kerb stable include Jack Whitehall and Lee Nelson, as well as Flanagan.

Tickets go on from 9am on Friday, priced £40 to £100.
