Monkey travelogue?

Nina Conti to make BBC4 film

Nina Conti is to present a BBC travelogue – alongside her ventriloquist puppet Monkey.

The pair will travel the world looking at alternative lifestyles in the hour-long BBC Four show Nina & Monkey’s Search For Enlightenment.

She will investigate therapies such as Shamanism and naked yoga, using the puppet to express her ‘more downbeat’ thoughts, according to TV trade paper Broadcast.

The film is expected to air in May.
