Celebrity Juice up for two Broacast Awards

Celebrity Juice, The Trip and Friday Night dinner are all up for two awards each in the 2012 Broadcast Awards.

The Trip and Friday Night Dinner are both up for both best comedy and best new programme – where they face competition from the likes of ITV2’s The Only Way Is Essex.

Others shortlisted in the comedy category are Episodes, Miranda, The Inbetweeners and Sky’s Little Crackers.

Celebrity Juice has been shortlisted in both best ‘multichannel’ programme and best entertainment show. TOWIE and Dynamo: Magician impossible are also in the same two categories.

Meanwhile, Jo Brand’s dark hospital comedy Getting On is also in the running for best multichannel programme.

Elsewhere, both the biopics of Hattie Jacques and Eric and Ernie have been shortlisted for best single drama in the awards, which are handed out by TV trade magazine Broadcast.

Winners will be announced at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on February 2.
