Vine goes back in time

Tim's pilot for BBC One

Tim Vine is working on a pilot for BBC One described as ‘Mr Ben meets Robin Hood’.

The pun-loving comedian has written a sample script of Time Vine Travels In Time, and will be doing a run-through in front of a small audience in a London pub theatre on Monday to hone the gags.

The idea is that the Not Going Out star Vine travels back to medieval times, with the job of matching up Robin Hood and Maid Marion.
