Do a Eurovision spoof? There's 'nul point'
Sacha Baron Cohen has reportedly scrapped his planned film about the Eurovision Song Contest.
He had been working on the script with his long-term collaborator Dan Mazer for a year, and producers at Working Title had already given it the go ahead.
But an unnamed source told today’s Sun that the idea wasn’t bearing fruit.
They said: ‘They'd completed a lot of preparatory work and had a team assisting them, but they've axed the idea. They felt that it wasn't working.’
The film had been planned for release in summer next year.
