Baynham to rewrite Arthur
Russell Brand movie edges forward
The remake of Arthur, starring Russell Brand in the role Dudley Moore made famous, has taken another step forward, with a writer now attached to the project.Peter Baynham, who previously worked with Sacha Baron Cohen on the Borat and upcoming Bruno movies, will pen the new script.
Arthur is being co-produced by Larry Brezner, who made the 1981 original.
Welsh-born Baynham was previously a performer, too, and appeared in I'm Alan Partridge, The Day Today, Lee & Herring’s Fist Of Fun, and an advertising campaign for Pot Noodles.
