Murray unveils his new ITV creations

Al Murray has revealed his first new comedy characters since he invented the Pub Landlord 15 years ago.

His new creations will feature in a new seven-part series, Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder, starting on ITV1 on February 27.

A few of his new characters are profiled below, while others include Simon, the Intolerant Vicar, Gaz, the supposedly gay best friend, who enjoys beer, heavy metal, and women; and Kev and Jaz, the unhelpful mobile phone shop employees.

The supporting cast includes the only two solo female Perrier winners: Jenny Éclair and Laura Solon, plus Katy Wix and Simon Brodkin, who will be introducing his comedy-circuit chav character Lee Nelson to a primetime TV audience.
