Rory's West End plans

Impressionist plans a musical

Rory Bremner is planning a West End musical, based on song parodies from his Channel 4 show.

The impressionist says he has already started working on the idea, but suggested that opening night wasn’t imminent.

He told The Sun: ‘We rewrite lyrics a lot and I’ve often wondered about, instead of just doing songs at the end, doing a set of songs.’

‘There’s a little project in the background.’

Bremner has previously enjoyed a London stage run with Johns Bird and Fortune. In 2002, the show Beware Of Imitations ran at the Albery Theatre.
