Matt Lucas coaches Arsenal

... for a new Nike advert

Matt Lucas is to appear in a series of Nike adverts with his beloved Arsenal FC.

The Little Britain star has written a series of new Nike commercials, in which he will play an aggressive cockney coach.

And he has just shot the first scenes with star players Sesc Fabregas and Phillpe Senderos.

A source on the set told The Sun: ‘Matt was decked out in a tracksuit barking orders at Cesc.

‘He was really getting stuck into his part. He was harping on about positive mental attitude and getting your head straight on the pitch. Cesc and Senderos looked like they were having a great time too.’

Lucas is a season-ticket holder at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium, while midfielder Fabregas used Little Britain DVDs to help him learn English when he moved here from his native Spain.
