Comedian Caroline Reid had recorded an online campaign for the company, playing a recruit trying out to become cabin crew.

Reid, said: ‘When I was growing up, there was a whole different glamour about flying and a glamour around cabin crew – you still have that with BA.

‘ I was delighted to get involved, as it was a great way to have fun and also to show how professional the crew really are. Also of course, I get the wear the real uniform, and even got my own badge made up.’
