Amos to front C4 documentary

Stephen K Amos is to front an hour-long documentary for Channel 4’s upcoming Gay Week.

The stand-up will use his own experiences to explore why homophobia still exists among black men, trade newspaper Broadcast reports.

Amos came out in his 2006 Edinburgh show, All Of Me, though his sexuality had been an open secret on the comedy circuit before then.

His show, Gay Black Men, will go out during the channel’s morning education schedule sometime betweem February 26 and March 2. It will be made by independent production house Maroon Productions.
