C4 sitcom latest for remake
The IT Crowd has become the latest British comedy to be picked up for a US remake.America's NBC network has sighned a deal to develop its own version of the Channel 4 comedy, which starred Richard Ayoade and Chris O'Dowd.
Moses Port and David Guarascio, who have previously worked on US sitcoms Mad About You and Just Shoot Me, are working on adapting the original scripts, written by Father Ted co-creator Graham Linehan.
NBC, which also makes the US version of The Office, has also just signed a deal to develop an American version of BBC Three's I'm With Stupid with the Farrelly brothers directing.
