Fry set to pen Time Lord adventure
Stephen Fry could be writing an episode of Doctor Who.
The QI host is in talks with the BBC to contribute a script for the next series, which will star David Tennant as the Time Lord.
But there are no plans for Fry to appear in the show, a corporation spokeswoman added, even though he was once tipped to play the Doctor himself, and has appeared in radio specials.
But she confirmed: "We are in talks with Stephen about the possibility of him writing an episode of Doctor Who."
The League of Gentlemen’s Mark Gatiss, a dedicated Dr Who fan, has already written one episode of the recent series, set in Victorian times.
