Springer gets Soul
'Hutch' joins comedy opera
Starsky and Hutch star David Soul is taking over the role of Jerry Springer in the West End musical.
The 60-year-old actor and singer will join the London cast on July 12, two days after Michael Brandon, pictured. gives his final performance.
The award-winning show, written by Stewart Lee and Richard Thomas, has seen by 250,000 theatregoers, netting more than £8.5 million at the box office.
Soul said he was “ thrilled and excited” to be joining the show at the Cambridge Theatre.
