Jim Davidson is moving to Dubai to try to boost his career overseas.

But he disappointed his many critics by vowing: “I won't be leaving England for good."

The comic has bought a luxury apartment in a 33-floor block, where he will live with girlfriend Michelle Cotton.

He told The People: "I want to give myself three or four years to see if I can make a go of it. So long as people can speak English, they can have a sense of humour.”
