Laughter's a drug

Coogan to host West End benefit

Steve Coogan is to revive Paul and Pauline Calf for a charity gig in London's West End.

He will be hosting Drugathon 2 in the guise of the student-hating lager lout and his tarty sister on September 28.

The benefit, in aid of The Chemical Dependency Centre, will be at the Dominion Theatre and is billed as a 'night on drugs with showbiz pals'.

A similar event two years ago, which featured Ruby Wax, Paul Whitehouse and Alan Rickman raised tens of thousands of pounds for the charity. No acts have yet been announced for this year's gig.
