'I'm another unfunny comic'

Comedy Terrorist's confession

Comedy terrorist Aaron Barschak has admitted he is an "unfunny comic".

Since shooting to infamy by gatecrashing Prince William's 21st birthday party, he has found it a struggle to progress from guerrilla tactics to a full-blown stand-up show, with audiences greeting his act with stony silence.

"I started hijacking comedy clubs because there are a lot of unfunny comics out there - and now I'm one of them," he told The Scotsman.

He says he recently died on stage at London's Bound and Gagged club because "I was too worried about what people thought".

Barschak also complained about the backlash from the comedy community, such as the comments left on Chortle's forums. "It seems comics are the only ones who can't take a joke," he complained.

He also said he has not ruled out hijacking other comics' shows or awards ceremonies at the Edinburgh Fringe, where his show Osama Likes It Hot starts on Thursday.

However, he as previously indicated he would find it hard to top his Windsor Castle escapades.

"I don't plan anything. I just do what I feel like," he said. "Stunts are fun. People are welcome to gatecrash my show if they like."
