R4 to examine comedy Down Under

Radio 4 is to broadcast a three-part series about Australian comedy.

Laughing At Dingoes, which goes out next month, is presented by Australian stand-up, and former Neighbours star Mark Little.

The programme traces the vibrant history of home-grown Australian comedy, from Norman Gunston and Paul Hogan's 'Bush Man' to contemporary stand-ups Adam Hills and Julia Morris via comic writer Kathy Lette.

The first show goes out on Tuesday May 13 at 11.30am.
