Something to Bragg about

Kay 'set for South Bank Show'

Peter Kay could feature in a forthcoming edition of The South Bank Show.

Producers are reportedly planning an edition of The Arts Show focusing on the talent to emerge from his home town of Bolton.

Host Melvyn Bragg would interview Kay alongside Badly Drawn Boy and playwright Jim Cartwright.

A spokesman for the show told the Bolton Evening News that the project was still in its early stages, but confirmed: "It's an idea that has been discussed.

"There's a slim possibility it could go into this year's schedule but if it does happen it is more likely to be next year."
