Charlotte Church's movie debut is to be unveiled at the Aspen comedy festival later this month.

The Welsh opera singer stars as the estranged teenager daughter of a past-it Eighties rocker in I'll Be There.

Former comedian Craig Ferguson, writer of the Brenda Blethlyn and Bill Bailey movie Saving Grace, produced the screenplay. He also stars as the father.

Steve Martin's latest movie will also get a showcase at the Comedy Arts Film Festival, which takes place in Colardo from February 26 to March 2 - the same time as a live comedy festival.

Martin will also be making an appearance for a question and answer session following the screening of his new comedy, Bringing Down The House.

The festival also features the US premiere of Scorched, starring John Cleese and Alicia Silverstone, and a Harold Lloyd retrospective.

In all, 24 feature films and 21 shorts will be screened at the event, which starts on February 26.
