Duo for C4's revamped breakfast show

Mel and Sue are to join Channel 4's breakfast show RI:SE when it relaunches on Monday.

It is hoped their arrival will reverse the fortunes of the ailing programme, which is being revamped with a new central London studio and new frontman, the 11 O'Clock Show's Iain Lee.

The duo will host their own half-hour section of the show from 8.30am, and are said to be aiming for the same style than won them praise in their daytime show Light Lunch.

Their segment will even have a studio audience, who will quiz Mel and Sue's main guest each day.
